Proxy Bidding is
our online absentee bid system which is available for all live James G. Murphy
Co. auctions.
Each auction has a CLICK HERE FOR ONLINE AND PROXY BIDDING button.
Once the Proxy bid button is clicked the customer will be redirected to the
Bidcaller platform. Registration on Bidcaller and acceptance of the Terms
& Conditions is required to leave a Proxy bid.
It is the policy of JGM Auctions to respect the privacy of all individuals and
as such will use information submitted via this site for internal purposes.
Proxy bids are considered an "absentee bid". By placing a Proxy bid
you authorize the auctioneer to bid on your behalf. The auctioneer will
purchase the item at the lowest possible price up to your maximum bid. Proxy bidding
is available at all of our live auctions as soon as the auction catalog (lot by
lot listing) for that auction is added to the site. Proxy bidding closes 1 hour
prior to the auction starting time. At that time, the high bid for any lot from
the Proxy bidding tool will be submitted to the auction floor. Those bids will
be bid with the live bidders, as if the Proxy bidder were present, up to the
amount of the Proxy bid. You will NOT be notified if you are out bid on the
auction floor. All successful Proxy bidders will be notified by phone and/or
email by the next business day following the auction.

warranties as to merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose. The
principal, the auctioneer, the advertising coordinator, and any of their agents

conditions of sale will be available at the time of sale. All information was
obtained from sources deemed reliable. Although every precaution has been taken

coordinator, and all of their agents shall not be responsible for any errors
and omissions therein. It is for this reason that we recommend that all items
